THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER
The cat’s cradle of creepy movie surprise and delights
The horror genre is all about suspense. We played with some of the portals of doom used in The Exorcist: Believer to create fun and suspenseful scare moments leading up to the theatrical release.
THE CHALLENGE
Turn the lore and artifacts from the first of a new series exploring the Exorcist franchise into a unique way to promote the film.

THE CONCEPT
A gamified experience extending the film narrative into people’s lives and going beyond the traditional movie trailer or contest.
Fans could play a game of digital cat’s cradle for a chance to win limited edition posters and other unique prizes from the film. The promotion was built on the Aptos blockchain, and leveraged Hang’s loyalty platform.
We spun up a natural extension of the film exhibitors could promote easily, while also experimenting with new technologies that enabled natural push and pull communication with fans via a unique ID connected to an NFT.
Leading concept development along with UX and UI, we made sure not to tell too many of the secrets from the story, while still being true to the theme.
