Creating a web3 fan quest for Black Mirror requires some serious worldbuilding
We worked with the stealth team at Pixelynx who are on the cusp of all things emergent digital fan experiences to build out the first-ever Black Mirror Quest experience called SMILE CLUB.
THE CHALLENGE
Help Pixelynx make their Black Mirror quest authentic, easy to understand, and fun.

THE CONCEPT
Smile Club, a platform to roll out multiple Black Mirror episodes as unique quests started with Nosedive- one of the most popular episodes in the series. In collaboration with the Pixelynx team, we advised on the cadence of quests, communication channel design, influencer strategy, and the questing flow.
Through interactive storytelling, it presents a class-based social experiment, sparking wider discussions and providing new viewpoints around class, status, and the impact of technology on society.
